IES Business School > GLOBAL BBA/MBA

The international Bachelor of Business Administration of IES

This is an international programme which allows to obtain a French diploma and an international diploma.

Our philosophy

IES Business School draws its strength from its teaching methods. In our top management school, excellence goes hand in hand with benevolence. The courses, with small classes of 25 people maximum, are taught by internationally renowned teachers. Each student benefits from individualised follow-up, with a tutor, a digital booklet for academic and professional project follow-up. Capacity building, via theatre workshops and public speaking classes in particular, and skills development are implemented, as well as work on managerial values. In our school, the student is at the centre. This is our pride.

The course

The flagship course which has been developed to provide a progression pathway to UK Masters Top Up degrees is the new IES Global BBA course which combines our French accredited BBA with the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management embedded within it and delivered in unison over a period of three years study with four Units from the ATHE Level 7 qualification being take in each of the second and third years.

The Global BBA is being promoted as a four-year course comprising the following:

  • First year: courses for BBA and English lessons in France
  • Second year: courses for BBA and four Units of ATHE Level 7 in France
  • Third year: courses for BBA and four Units of ATHE in France

So, at the end of Year 3 students have French BBA Diploma and ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management

  • Fourth year: One year in England, Ireland or USA exiting with an appropriate qualification

To date appropriate arrangements for the fourth year of the Global BBA have been concluded with the following international institutions:

  • University of Suffolk – UK
  • University of Cumbria – UK
  • Northwood University – USA
  • Griffith College, Dublin – Ireland

These arrangements are outlined in respect of each University/HEI below.

A student with a UK Higher National Diploma can apply for a Master’s degree but it depends on the course of study:

– If he wishes to complete his Master’s degree in a French-speaking course, the student must take the French language test (TCF). There are three compulsory tests: oral comprehension, language structure and written comprehension. A minimum score of 400 is required, equivalent to a B2 level.
