The BA – Bachelor in Business and Management is a degree developed jointly with Wrexham University. He aims to prepare students for the challenges of the modern business world, to strengthen and develop their personal and professional skills more widely.
The modules in this programme are designed with a focus on business, international, contemporary and practical issues to ensure that graduates are ready for the workplace.
The programme’s learning strategy aims to provide students with autonomy in terms of learning and personal development.
During the course, students will gain an insight into the world of business and management through courses taught by academics and industry professionals with experience in the world of work and big business.
They will develop their business acumen and skills in areas such as management, accounting, human resources and marketing. This training will enable them to best respond to current and future market needs, so that they can be immediately operational upon graduation.
Years 1 & 2 – ATHE
Year 3 – Wrexham University
They have been teaching students at the main Wrexham campus since 1887, when they were known as the Wrexham School of Science and Art. They first started offering degrees in 1924, in 2008 they gained university status, and they decided on the name, Glyndwr University that has changed to Wrexham University in 2023.
They pride themselves in their teaching quality and student satisfaction, which has been recognized in university league tables. Wrexham University is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UK for both Teaching Quality (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2023) and for Student Satisfaction (Complete University Guide, 2024).
IES is franchised by Wrexham University to deliver the BA and upon successful completion students would receive a Wrexham degree certificate.
