IES Normandie is committed to ensuring the protection of Customer Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection and information security laws including, but not limited to, the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, as implemented, supplemented and amended where appropriate at the national level (“GDPR”), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive and various national laws concerning the protection of personal data.

 

The data collected on this site are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016; Regulation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

This site uses forms. The data collected by IES Normandies on these forms is for internal use only.

 

All personal information collected on this site, whether compulsory or optional, is intended solely for the internal use of IES Normandie and will not be exchanged or resold to any outside organisation.

 

 

Collection of personal data

 

The data controller mentioned in this document is IES Normandie, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of €25,000.00, whose registered office is located at 12 B Avenue Pasteur, 76000 ROUEN, registered in the Rouen Trade and Companies Register under no. 812 824 225, and of which Mr. Boris Mazurier, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, is the legal representative.

 

These data are in particular :

 

Name, first name, title, date of birth;

Postal address, e-mail address, telephone number;

Level of education, educational background, transcripts, diplomas, professional experience;

Identification of the employing company and the tutor.

The information requested is collected strictly for the purposes of your request for information or application. All the answers requested are necessary for the processing of your application. Failure to answer a mandatory field may compromise the processing of your requests and the proper follow-up of your file.

 

The personal information provided is recorded in an internal computer file by IES Normandie.

 

The data collected will only be used insofar as it is necessary for the proper processing of the request.

 

 

Purpose of storing personal data

 

The data collected will only be used insofar as it is necessary for the management of the administrative or academic file in the case of pre-registration or final registration. It will also be used in the context of the institution’s relations with the certifying bodies for final registrations.

 

The personal data requested as part of a pre-registration or enrolment process is based on the need to fulfil contractual or pre-contractual obligations relating to these processes, in accordance with Article 6.1.b of Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016.

 

Such data will only be used in the context of the request that necessitated their communication otherwise.

 

The data requested in the context of a request for information or registration for a newsletter or for the periodic receipt of internal information from the institution, without implementing a pre-registration or registration process, is based on the free consent of the identified or identifiable person, pursuant to Article 6.1.a of Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016.

 

 

Duration of storage of personal data

 

Personal information is kept for a period not exceeding 3 years from the date of its communication, in the absence of finalisation of a definitive registration.

 

This personal information is kept for a period not exceeding 5 years from the date of the last diploma obtained at IES Normandie, in the case of final registration.

 

These periods will not apply:

 

If you exercise your right to delete your data, under the conditions mentioned below;

If a longer retention period is authorised or imposed by virtue of a legal or regulatory obligation.

In all cases, personal information will be kept for the entire period necessary to process the request.

 

During this period, the institution undertakes to put in place all the necessary means to ensure the confidentiality and security of such data, so as to prevent their alteration or deletion or access by an unauthorised third party.

 

 

Protection of access to personal data

 

Access to personal data is strictly limited to the staff of the institution competent to deal with the request (communication department, administrative department, teaching department, human resources department, financial department, if applicable).

 

Access to personal data provided in the context of a request for information not followed by a request for pre-registration or final registration is strictly reserved for the communication department.

 

Access to personal data provided in the context of a request for pre-registration is strictly reserved for the administrative staff and the financial department.

 

Access to personal data provided in the context of a definitive enrolment is strictly reserved for the administrative staff, the financial department and the teaching department. The data necessary for the issue of diplomas will also be transferred to the competent certifying body. Certifying bodies are subject to an obligation of confidentiality and may not use the data transmitted for any purpose unrelated to their contractual relationship with IES Normandie and to the applicable legislation.

 

IES Normandie undertakes not to sell, rent, transfer or allow access to third parties to the data without the prior consent of the person identified or identifiable by the data, except for legitimate reasons.

 

 

Exercising your rights

 

You have the right to access, rectify, obtain a copy of this data; to erase (or “forget”); to limit the processing of your personal data; to be notified; to object, except for “legitimate and compelling reasons” such as processing for statistical, historical or scientific research purposes; to not be the subject of a legal decision based on automated processing; and to portability of the information concerning you.
