IES Business School first opened its doors in 2015 and has been in perpetual motion ever since.
With its maxim that the student should be at the centre of the school, IES accompanies every student individually throughout their courses.
The theoretical fundamentals taught are combined with professional learning, in order to intensify the knowledge shared and the experience gained by the student.
It is also about establishing objectives and giving the student the means to achieve them.
IES has a requisite number of accreditations to operate as a private sector education and training provider in France which are identified below together with an outline of the relevant regulatory system in France.
For initial training, we are dependent on the Rectorate and must make a declaration to them in respect of each new student we recruit. For work-linked training whether it is a professional contract or an apprenticeship we depend on the Regional Directorates for the Economy, Employment, Work and Solidarity (DREETS). This agency is under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour.
We depend on the Rectorate* but our Diplomas depend on certifiers sworn in by the French state and not directly by the Rectorate. The Rectorate has no control over our programmes. Rather, we depend on the Ministry of Labour, which allows us to issue the RNCP Title (Professional Diploma).
*The Rectorate is the administration of the National Education. It is present in each region and in each department: these are the deconcentrated services of the Ministry of National Education.
Our Diplomas are certified by two main certifiers, namely:
ATHE Approved Centre
As noted above, we are an approved centre of ATHE (Awards for Training & Higher Education) the UK Ofqual regulated awarding body and as such we can offer a range of their qualifications which are recognised for progression/credit by over 20 UK and international Universities.
Cambridge International Education Centre
Finally, we are part of the CIEC International network and as such have been approved to offer a range of CIEC courses including in particular its University Foundation and Pre-MBA courses.
